Value (Tone)

Color and paint mixing

Brushwork and Edges

Linear and Aerial Perspective

Students are encouraged to develop their own unique “voice” while applying these basic elements.  Each class starts with a very brief lecture or demonstration, then students work on their individual projects.  We will work from live setups as well as photos for reference.   Student should bring a table easel, paint, appropriate medium, canvas, brushes, and a few other essentials.  A complete supply list will be provided upon registration.
