ART ON THE SQUARE ARTISTS FEATUREDLIVE!ON FACEBOOK!
We’re generating a lot more “buzz” on Facebook! Gallery manager, Cynthia Nance has started videoing a live Facebook interview with the week day shift volunteers and putting the "spotlight" on their work. Shift volunteers on Tuesday through Friday are the featured “artists of the day”! The daily Facebook Live post is getting a lot of “likes and shares” which elevates the exposure for our gallery and especially the featured artists. Visit our Facebook page (Ellis County Art) to see all the interviews –EllisCountyArt Facebookbe sure to like then share it on your personal page!
SATURDAY & SUNDAY SHIFT VOLUNTEERS – “POP-UP ART SHOW”
In addition to the Facebook Live posts during the week, weekend volunteers are allowed to “feature” up to 5 of their inventory pieces in the gallery out front on the sidewalk. We have two (2) 6’ wire roll-around rack displays that are stored in the middle closet in the classroom. The requirements: (1) Volunteers who wish to hang work out front are responsible for setting up the display, (2) Your work is featured only during your shift – you must remove & rehang your work at end of your shift, (3) Return the Roll-around displays to the classroom closet at the end of the day.
OPPORTUNITY:
If you haven’t fulfilled your shift obligation as a gallery artist, sign in to the website & check out the volunteer calendar for September – sign up & take advantage of the opportunity to “toot your own horn” and put your art “out there”! (We encourage you to sign up on a Saturday or Sunday to take advantage of the sidewalk sale…)
