The Ellis County Art Association’s Annual Youth Art Show.

ECAA has a mission to promote the arts and encourage young people to develop their creativity by hosting this annual event. Artwork from students across all Ellis County Schools, Pre-K to High School, will be displayed in a professional manner, at a real art gallery, at Art on the Square, in downtown Waxahachie. Student’s artwork will be judged and given ribbon awards by age groups. Also, one high school senior will be awarded a $500 scholarship from ECAA and one high school senior will receive a $1000 Scholarship from the Shelley Nance Memorial Art Scholarship Fund.  Scholarships will be awarded at 2 pm on Saturday, April 23. The Art Gallery will exhibit the Youth Art Show; April 19-24 Families, friends, and the public are invited to visit the art gallery during the week to enjoy the display.
